Considerations for Efficient Filtration Installation
FilterCor filters are a simple, economical solution to most problems of fluid clean-up. To achieve maxi-mum benefit from this type of filtration, several factors should be considered when selecting the appropriate cartridges and filters.
1) Viscosity of the Fluid Being Filtered:
Very viscous fluids tend to hold particles in suspension, allowing some larger particles through, thereby reducing efficiency. Conversely, gases drop out particles easily and efficiency is increased.
2) Flow Rate High flow rates may reduce efficiency, low rates increase it.
3) Pressure Drop:
Very high pressure drop may slightly compress the element, increasing effiency.
